Log Cabin Cares Leadership Team
Log Cabin Cares is proud to be a official 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to giving back to the communities that have supported us for decades. Our Board of Directors and leadership team are passionately committed to serving neighbors across Southwestern Pennsylvania—organizing fundraising events, partnering with local initiatives, and ensuring our charitable efforts create a lasting, positive difference.
Clint Iams and Nicole Myers are the founders of Log Cabin Cares, a nonprofit created to support local organizations, strengthen communities, and give back to the people and causes making a difference throughout the region.
Both Clint and Nicole have built careers centered on leadership, service, and helping others.
Clint is the second-generation owner of Log Cabin Fence, a family-founded construction company established in 1981. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a diversified operation spanning fence materials and installation, fabric-roofed structures, farm equipment, and the manufacturing of commercial-grade post drivers used by contractors across the country. He holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Taxation from Robert Morris University and also serves as part-time faculty at RMU, where he teaches marketing and brings real-world business experience into the classroom. Clint is actively involved in advancing the fence industry through leadership roles with the North American Fence Contractors Association (NAFCA) and the American Fence Association (AFA).
Nicole is a registered nurse, educator, and healthcare informatics professional with nearly two decades of experience in patient care, clinical research, and quality improvement. She serves as a Quality Specialist at WVU Medicine and as Lab Manager for the Pitt Health and Explainable AI Research Laboratory, supporting research at the intersection of healthcare and artificial intelligence. Her career has included clinical, leadership, and research roles with the University of Pittsburgh, UPMC, Allegheny Health Network, and WVU Medicine. Nicole also serves as an Adjunct Nursing Informatics Instructor at Grand Canyon University and is pursuing her Ph.D. studies at the University of Pittsburgh, building on her Master of Science in Health Informatics.
Together, Clint and Nicole founded Log Cabin Cares from a shared belief that successful businesses and strong communities go hand in hand. Through fundraising events, partnerships, volunteer efforts, and community support, their goal is to use the resources and relationships they have built to help local organizations do even more good.
Clint and Nicole live in Amity, Pennsylvania, have four children, two dogs, seven goats, and more chickens than are probably necessary. When they aren’t working, teaching, volunteering, or taking care of animals, they enjoy traveling, camping, and discovering new restaurants together.
At the heart of Log Cabin Cares is a simple belief shared by both Clint and Nicole: when people come together to help others, stronger communities are built.

A Tradition of excellence
At Log Cabin Fence, community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in the power of coming together to make our space a better place, and our commitment to giving back to the local community reflects this ethos. We proudly support a range of initiatives, including the Washington County Fair, Relay for Life, local volunteer fire departments, and Arlington National Cemetery through the North American Fence Contractors Association (NAFCA). By actively participating in these programs, we are dedicated to creating a more vibrant and supportive environment for everyone in Washington County, Southwestern PA, and beyond.
Our support of the Washington County Fair and Ag Days events exemplifies our dedication to improving the agricultural community in SWPA. By sponsoring and engaging in events at the fair, we aim to provide memorable experiences for families while also contributing to and promoting the importance of agriculture in our community. Additionally, our involvement in Relay for Life underscores our commitment to the fight against cancer, supporting those affected by this disease and their families. We extend our support to local volunteer fire departments, recognizing the invaluable service they provide in times of crisis. Finally, our support of NAFCA’s annual volunteer service project at Arlington National Cemetery signifies our respect for our nation’s heroes and our commitment to preserving their memory.
At Log Cabin Fence, we are proud to be a part of the positive change in our community, as we know that when we come together, we can make a real difference for generations to come.
